😘 Happy Mother's Day😘

Shoutout to all the mothers! I love and appreciate you for all that you do!

The week!

Monday: Pday, we didn't do too much, fun Book of Mormon study family home evening with new members/seniors😍

Tuesday: Went to shimonoseki for Zone Conference! It was maybe my favorite zone conference ever. (If you're a ZL or STL in a different mission have a zone focus on companionship unity! It makes your zone super happy!) My favorite part was when we were reciting the missionary purpose, I was conducting the Zone Conference and so I led the missionary purpose. I got to look at everyone's smiles and smile at them as we said why we are here, "To invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receieve the Restored Gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end." It's a wonderful thing to be a part of this cause. I felt joy in my soul looking into the missionaries eyes.

Zone conference was in Shimonoseki again so I got to go back and see lots of my old members, I LOVE SHIMONOSEKI! Hiramatsu shimai, Okamura shimai, and Kiyomi shimai are such angels, I love them! Hiramatsu shimai snuck me to the side and secretly gave me cookies she baked and McDonalds gift cards for me and my companion. Later she said I was her son and someone else said that I was more like her grandson! (She has a granddaughter my age who's gonna go on a mission soon!) If I transfer then this could've been my last time visiting shimonoseki until I visit not as a missionary! (Actually I think I'm going next week for DCM before transfers, but I won't be able to see lots of members)

After zone conference we went on exchanges with the Shimonoseki missionaries! I was with Elder Dobosz in my old area! It was probably the most fun I've had in a long time. We got to go streeting at all of my old places and met so many cool people. We had a lesson planned at a place called Ozuki where the before mentioned Hiramatsu's live, but our lesson got cancelled last minute after we had already arrived at Ozuki station by train. We called the Hiramatsu's to try to see if we could visit since we came all the way out there. That was so nostalgic, I went there on my last full non packing day in shimonoseki before I transferred. It was nice to sit down and share about the restoration with Brother and Sister Hiramatsu. Also I remembered how to get to their house from the station without a map! The map got messed up somehow so it showed them living at a different place, but I was able to fix the app!

Wednesday:
Continuing exchanges in Shimonoseki! In the morning we went to Senjogahara Park to talk to people! We got to talk to two old gentlemen on the top of the little lookout. It was so much fun to talk with them. We shared about the restoration of the Gospel and, though they weren't interested in learning more, they said I was a kind young man and that I should find a japanese wife and stay and help Japan! ι ‘εΌ΅γ‚ŠγΎγ™(η¬‘πŸ˜‚

Later we were streeting in front of the college and you'll never guess who walked up while we were talking to a nice lady... Ayumu kyodai! My brother in Christ!πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„Me and Elder Miller found him on a road nearby that one and he quickly changed his life and got baptized. There has been a physical change in him, he has so much more joy, more confidence, lesson confusion, and more love for those around him. If you need help with any of those things then Christ can help you. Let me know and I can teach you how to begin your relationship with Him.πŸ˜‰ Now Brother Ayumu took us on campus (my first time going inside for real! And bought us a pastry at the bakery! So nice!

We finished exchanges and headed back to kitakyushu where me and Elder Ellis finished my doing weekly planning.

Thursday:
Exchnages with Ube! I was in Ube for the 2nd time, but this time I was with Elder Perry! He is so awesome! His area is also doing awesome! We had 3 lessons and ping ping activity! We invited one of the friends to be baptized, but he feels he needs to strengthen his faith more before he sets a date.

Friday:
We played sports at the church with the Sisters that morning and then we went back and made waffles and homemade syrup, it was so good! I want a waffle iron πŸ˜‚ Then we finished exchanges and went back to kitakyushu! There was a severe storm warning so we couldn't go to one of our lessons (the wind was so crazy!)

Saturday!
Futsal activity! Super fun!

Sunday!
Awesome church! Got to play with the primary kids!

I love you all!
