Fukuoka???

Hello! Well, I got transferred. I'm now in Fukuoka, Japan, the biggest city in the mission! I'm companions with Elder Wendel and we are the APs (Assistant to the Mission President). It was a crazy week with all the new missionaries coming in and the old ones leaving, so lets get into it!  Tuesday: We had our mission-wide transfer announcement zoom at 9:30 pm, but President Boss called me at around 9:15 and asked if I would be willing to serve as AP. Then I started packing to leave Thursday morning! Wednesday: Finished packing and said bye to all the people in Kitakyushu Thursday: Put my suitcases in the car and drove down to Fukuoka, easiest transfer ever. We parked at the temple and took everything across the street to my new apartment.    We went to hakata station to get the trainers ready for training, and then had lunch and dinner with the new missionaries.  Friday: We ate sukiyaki at the mission home with the returning missionaries and then had a ...

Good morning Houston! The weather has been pretty great this last week! It rained for a few days, but other than that overall nice! Today is getting a bit hot, but when you're riding on a bike it feels so nice! I've been so happy this week!  Lots of miracles and lessons! We met up with so many old friends that haven't been able to meet this transfer and they are happy to hear about the gospel again. One of our friends, maeda, hasn't been able to meet for a really long time, but we finally had a lesson on Friday and then he also came to the ysa activity we had on Saturday, it was super fun! WE PLAYED CODE NAMES! My mom loves that game and it was the first time I've seen it in japan! That and ito were super fun! I want to buy some games to bring back go America. If you're in japan and have any fun suggestions send them my way! One thing I normally say to people on first contacts is that because God is our Heavenly Father, He wants is to be happy. I've really f...

Shoutout to all the mothers! I love and appreciate you for all that you do!  The week! Monday: Pday, we didn't do too much, fun Book of Mormon study family home evening with new members/seniors Tuesday: Went to shimonoseki for Zone Conference! It was maybe my favorite zone conference ever. (If you're a ZL or STL in a different mission have a zone focus on companionship unity! It makes your zone super happy!) My favorite part was when we were reciting the missionary purpose, I was conducting the Zone Conference and so I led the missionary purpose. I got to look at everyone's smiles and smile at them as we said why we are here, "To invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receieve the Restored Gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end." It's a wonderful thing to be a part of this cause. I felt joy in my soul looking into the missionaries eyes. Zone conferenc...

The Comeback

Hello everyone! I'm sorry that my emails have been not the best but today I will put more time into it! Clarifications from the last Email: I said Jacob was getting married in my last email, but he's not actually engaged...yet. My mom told me to clarify in this email because everyone was texting him asking when he got engaged  XD  ... I wasn't lying though While he wasn't trying to, Justin did blow up the coolant in my car. Cool experience (Please read the whole thing  ) Yesterday, while walking through a park, we met someone who was laying down on a bench on his phone. For me, it was a bit awkward to open my mouth and talk to him, I wasn't sure if he was homeless and sleeping, or just laying on the bench enjoying the weather. After I had walked a step past him, I turned and said hello and asked him what made him happy in life. He responded by saying that he felt happy while eating yummy food.    If you're on this email list, you probably know enough about me to...
