im going home...TO SHIMONOSEKI!

Ok ok sorry for the clickbait. But yea! I'm got transferred to the Kitakyushu ward!  It's in the same district as my 2nd area, Shimonoseki. Shimonoseki has definitely been my favorite place yet, sorry yatsushiro and Ishigaki. If the shimadas were still on ishigaki then it might be a close fight, also yatsushiro was probably my most effective missionary work in terms of friends and baptism dates, but the small branch was chotto muzukashikatta. So I'm in the Yamaguchi zone again and me and my comp are the Zone Leaders, more about that later! But I will go back to Shimonoseki occasionally for meetings and maybe exchanges! I believe Ayumu kyodai will go to Zone Conference! He is the person I that got baptized while I was in Shimonoseki, he is literally the best! I'm excited to see some of the other members as well! 😊😄

Bye bye Yatsushiro!😊😔
So contrary to my predictions yatsushiro didn't get pink-washed (Elders replaced by Sisters), the new apartment is just the most bougie elders apartment in existence. Elder Ross is still back there with his new comp, Elder Kessler.
Regemae and Daisy are still on baptismal date in yatsushiro, praying for them! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I didn't get to eat Balot before I left (look it up.... it's a Filipino food that Sister Mai was trying to get to me, but never got the chance. 😢 I was excited to try it, but also kinda relieved I didn't have to. 😅
The branch president was super nice and drove us back to the station to say bye and so we didn't have to take my suitcases and violin on the bus. He said that I should come back to Yatsushiro, either on exchanges or to live there! I don't know that I'd ever live there, but I was honored! As of now, if I came back to live in Japan, I'd probably want to live in Shimonoseki. I have so many friends there and the branch is just so sweet!

Transfers!
To get to Kitakyushu I had to take 4 trains! First I went to Kumamoto with Elder Ross, and then I went to fukuoka with the other kumamoto missionaries transferring there! We waited in fukuoka for a few hours while the other missionaries arrived. Boss kaicho came to the station to see everyone at transfers! He was happy to see everyone! From there I went with Elder Santos to Kokura station (downtown kitakyushu) and then another train down to where the church and apartment is.

Hello Kitakyushu!

I'm excited to work here! We have lots of friends and I think by following thr spirit we will see tons of miracles! I'll keep you posted! Have a good week!
