Howdy! Sooooooooooo... we taught Ayumu san all of the commandments in one lesson! AND HE IS ALL GOOD TO GO! Ayumu is the most humble person I've ever met and he is also one of the smartest. He understands what he understands and understands how that applies to his life. Like when we talked about service in the church and sharing the gospel we talked about missionary work and he was like "should I become a missionary?"... we met this man like a little over a month ago and now he's planning to serve his mission in 3 years. When we taught about the temple and Family History work he said the closing prayer and he prayed that he could "help save [his] family" through the temple. He truly is a special soul that God has been preparing. We are teaching the last few principles that have't been taught yet tonight! Update on Matsumoto! Hello family and friends! Back to a real email! The last few weeks have been short but I'm back on track! (At least for today) Updates: I felt rich today (実は貧乏です) so I spent lots of money on groceries...it's gonna be a good week! By lots I mean like $35-40 and next week should be super cheap bc I bought lots! Our friend Ayumu san is on BAPTISMAL DATE! We had 2 eikaiwas with him where we shared first about prayer and then church, he came to church and then we invited him to take the lessons! During the first lesson we had an amazing member joint from Makoto kyodai (Shimonoseki branch is literally the best branch out there.... sorry ishigaki. But it's OK, your pineapple is the best. And your senior missionaries 😣) OK but we were talking about the Atonement and he was really understanding and believing it. Good morning America! (and a few people around the world) Im currently zooming across Japan on a Bullet train for zone conference. Now in Hiroshima! Gonna go see the bomb dome! Ok I'm sorry I totally got lost touring around Hiroshima! Quit missionary work update! Ayumu san! We found him because he had an Astros hat! He came to church yesterday and is interested in learning more! Nyein san is just awesome! Hello! I have 8 minutes to write this bad boy so here we go! This week was so great! Our friends Nyein and Ryo are really starting to progress! There were multiple experiences throughout the week where I was prompted to bring something in the morning that I really needed to use to help people! The spirit is like the flying iPad thing in Mickey Mouse cllubhouse (Toodles!) that gives Mickey and the gang the things they need to accomplish their work! I love curry! Today we made rice cooker cake! It was a fun experienece and has got absolutly nothing on any cake my mom has ever touched, but it was pretty ok! We burned a batch of chocolate when making chocolate bark! We had a Jam session with Toshi san today, he doesnt have interest in learning about church so we can only play with him on pdays lol.
