The hand of the Lord!
Hello everyone! Elder Rasmussen back for another transfer in Shimonoseki! (I didn't get transfered!) Me and Elder Miller are gonna go off this transfer and see some miracles!
Last week I really felt like I'm becoming a tool in the hand of the Lord! There were so many times where I felt like he was guiding and directing me in many different ways. I'll share one that was really cool!
Korean Book of Mormon!
Last Saturday we had an appointment for lunch and for dinner so we wouldn't be returning after we left at 9:30am. Before we left I was waiting for Elder Miller to finish getting ready and in my head I was like "hmm, what does God need to me to bring with me today?" as you do before you leave the apartment and then I thought "I should bring a Korean Book of Mormon." I grabbed one and a Japanese Book of Mormon. Previously I had talked to korean people two times and so I was like hmm, not sure why but I need to bring one! So I brough it and then while we were streeting later that day we needed it! If I hadn't had it then the person would not have had any interest but because we did she was so shocked and listened to us. I hope she reads it and contacts us back! (We weren't able to get her contact info because her bus came, but we gave her ours) I have faith in her!
But yea! I'm still loving Japanese! I took the MTC EI language test for my second time in the feild this week! This test is on a 10 point scale with a 10 being educated native speaker. Around a 7 is considered fluent. In the MTC I got a 2.5, in my 3rd transfer I got a 3.5, and last week (first day of my 6th transfer) I got a 5.8! I get to take it again in February! My goal is a 7.0! That will be really hard and so I better hope and pray that when I get transfered I get a Japanese companion who absolutly hates english! Or a really awesome american missionary whos about to go home and can teach me all their secrets (Elder Johnson and Elder Nagao come baaaaackkkkk, I was just a beanchan, you should both come back for like 2 transfers...or 12) I love learning and reading kanji! I've been journaling in japanese... sorry kids... i should do english too but I dont have time... just learn japanese my children! Or I'll marry someone who speaks Japanese and we can teach our children... but thats not something to thing about now!
Halloween Party!
We had our branch's halloween party last week! It was so much fun! We didn't have time to dress up but we had 8 friends come to it! Pics on the album (if they aren't there check in a few days, my mom always messages me that they aren't there... I only forget to put them on like 75% of the time)
Yea! This emails pretty short but I love yall so much! Last thing is about what I read in the Book of Mormon!
I love Alma 30s so much! Alma is just such an awesome dude and I can learn about how he and Amulek deal with people fighting against them. Treat people with love and it will be ok! Eventually!
aishiteiruyo!
