Your Elder gets transferred and becomes a father again

Whats up from the land of raw fish and super cool roofs!

I got transfered and I received my 2nd son.

IM IN SHIMONOSEKI!

Shimonoseki stats:

-huge branch (30-40 people come everyweek) (ok not huge but hey...ishigaki...)

-Really pretty mountains (ok the ocean is pretty too but hey...ishigaki...)

-The members are so nice, we are currently leaving our area and district to go to this rock place (with ZL permission)

- 4 missionaries, Us and the Shimonoseki Sisters (Me, my beanchan Elder Miller, Sister Wakura, and Sister Mounteer) I've served 4 transfers now, Sister Wakura has done 2, and the other two are new.

Something I studied this week:

The Lord said, “Look unto me in every thought.” (D&C 6:36.) Looking unto the Lord in every thought is the only possible way we can be the manner of men and women we ought to be.

The Lord asked the question of His disciples, “What manner of men ought ye to be?” He then answered His own question by saying, “Even as I am.” (3 Ne. 27:27.) To become as He is, we must have Him on our mind—constantly in our thoughts. Every time we partake of the sacrament, we commit to “always remember him.” (Moro. 4:3; 5:2; D&C 20:77, 79.)

If thoughts make us what we are, and we are to be like Christ, then we must think Christlike thoughts. Let me repeat that: If thoughts make us what we are, and we are to be like Christ, we must think Christlike thoughts.

… Our thoughts should be on the Lord. We should think on Christ.8

Let our personal lives, our homes, and our work performance reflect our Christlike character

Yea thats great! we should let everything we do reflect our love for God, He should be our reason for doing all that we do. When you work, work for your families, for your future, for your God.

There are lots of people here who have been taught everything about the church and who come to church everyweek but aren't baptized. When I met one for the first time at church I, knowing that he wasn't, asked if he was a member and he said yes. Hmm.

Yea so we've got some work here! The sisters have lots of people to teach but since we are opening up the area for elders we don't have anyone yet.

Ok sorry this email is really weird. I hope you have a good week, see you soon!
