WOO HOO!
Whats up everyone! Im back with another email! So much has happened since last week!
(also sorry about the abrupt ending on my last email, I ran out of time lol, probably will happen to this one too)
OK! First things first!
Hiroshima! Yea so we went to Hiroshima for Zone Conference last week! Our friend drove us to the station and we just missed our train so we had to wait an hour for the next one. We wanted to go see the dome site thing but didnt have time. What we did have time for was Hiroshima Okonomiyaki! That stuff is great! I can't explain it so please just look it up and then you'll understand. I love President and Sister Boss! They are amazing! Our amazing APs are also pretty fire! They were MTC Companions lol.
Next! We came back to Shimonoseki and had a few fire lessons with our friend Matsumoto san! The old guy whos english is strangely good. He is awesome and we've talked alot about baptism!
Today! By far the most productive Pday yet (Trip with the friend and member and then an FSY activity were fun but not very good "preparation"). We finally got our bikes! Mine got fixed Saturday night! We picked it up today and bought Elder Miller's bike! Then we went to 2nd Street and I bought a very nice backpack for exchanges and buying groceries!
We are planning on inviting Matsumoto san to be baptized this week!
Elder Miller is just awesome! His brother gets home from his mission on wednesday, that will be difficult! Please pray for him!
Also please pray for Elder J. His dad passed away suddenly last week.
I love you all so much!
One thing that was very apparent to me this week was how uncertain life is, but how certain we can become through the knowledge we have of the Plan of Salvation. On the Gospel Library app I watched a video about a family whos father died in the military. The mom was left along with 7 kids, early teens to toddlers. That would be so hard. Life would be a whirlwind, but through Jesus Christ she has been able to press on and be ok. God can make everything ok no matter where you are or what has happened. Trust in Him and follow His teachings and He will bless you. That is what He wants. To bless you.
I love yall so much again! I finished this one! Its not as beautiful as I would want but it is what I know to be true! Apply that message to your life today!
Elder Rasmussen! :)
