nice old men who speak english
We're back, week two in shimonoseki and once again I'm writing my email on the way out of shimonoseki area. Ok so now I've actually done some missionary work here!
We've gone our streeting lots and made lots of new friends! Found people on Facebook! Met lots more members.
Highlights!
Jake's birthday! Theres a half American family in our Branch apparently! The primary put a little birthday party on after church and we had some amazing sandwiches. Sandwiches in Japan go crazy!
We are in Hiroshima for okonomiyaki... I mean zone Conference. But yea there's this food called okonomiyaki and its really good. I've never had the Hiroshima version but I heard it's the best kind!
I got a bike finally! The office sent me a bike, it was supposed to be Elder Nagaos old bike but I think it's different. Oh well! This one was a little messed up but I gave it to the bike shop and they are fixing it up for me!
Matsumoto San! We met this super nice old dude who's english so like weirdly good!
Yuya San! We met this man 2 days ago and today he drove us like and hour and half to go to a YSA activity in Ube. Yuya San is awesome, the Sisters were teaching him before and he's just the best!
Chelsea Shimai! She's half Japanese but was raised in America! She speaks Japanese and English (learned Japanese recently) but she's literally the best member ever!
