4 companions in one week

 Yippee! Greetings from a different island! Today I'm on Iriomote Island!

 4 Compaions
OK I had exchanges twice with first the DL and then the ZLs wanted to come to Ishigaki so they came even though we didn't need an exchange, probably a waste of money but hopefully people learned! My other two companions are Elder Nagao and then our trio, Elder Johnson! Elder Nagao had been my companion then whole time, he goes home on Sunday! Elder Johnson was actually Elder Nagao's companion before me! They were APs together, I have so much I can learn from them! Elder Johnson goes home after this transfer so then I'll probably be here 1 or 2 more after that so I can show the new person around the Ishigaki!

 Iriomote!
Today since it was Elder Nagao's last pday we went to another island in our area (there's a bunch but 2 of them are really far so we can't take a ferry to them) it was fun! My companions decided to go further than was probably OK in the water but I stayed, the nature was so cool though! Pictures at the bottom!

 Testify Truth and Knowledge 
This past week one of our friends who we teach english said when we teach her more about the gospel, (we always to a spiritual message after we meet with someone for english), she said she didn't want to hear the words of God or other people, she wanted us to testify what we know. That hit me, it is still so important to use scriptures, videos, and other aids, but we can't forget to testify of the truths the scriptures teach. I felt prompted during studies to testify about the Holy Ghost next time! Pray for us and for her!

I loved learning from this talk this week! Forgiveness is so important, if we don't forgive people we will feel more pain from that than from whatever they may have done in the first place. It can be hard, but be humble, be loving, that will bless you and others.

 Elder Johnson
Goals for the next six weeks with Elder Johnson! Become comfortable teaching, fix the things I know aren't the best and find more things to teach! We need to help so many of our friends get baptized, there are like 7 that I should be baptized within this transfer so please pray for us!

Fukuoka???

Hello! Well, I got transferred. I'm now in Fukuoka, Japan, the biggest city in the mission! I'm companions with Elder Wendel and we are the APs (Assistant to the Mission President). It was a crazy week with all the new missionaries coming in and the old ones leaving, so lets get into it!  Tuesday: We had our mission-wide transfer announcement zoom at 9:30 pm, but President Boss called me at around 9:15 and asked if I would be willing to serve as AP. Then I started packing to leave Thursday morning! Wednesday: Finished packing and said bye to all the people in Kitakyushu Thursday: Put my suitcases in the car and drove down to Fukuoka, easiest transfer ever. We parked at the temple and took everything across the street to my new apartment.    We went to hakata station to get the trainers ready for training, and then had lunch and dinner with the new missionaries.  Friday: We ate sukiyaki at the mission home with the returning missionaries and then had a ...

I accidently started writing this in Japanese

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another weekly email! We had a nice week so buckle in. Companion exchange! I exchanged with a missionary named Elder Takamura! He just came to our mission a few weeks ago from his original assignment in New Zealand. He will finish his mission in November! It was a pretty busy exchange, we had 4 lessons right after we got back from Yamaguchi, and then the next morning before we switched back, we had 1 more lesson. We invited 2 of those 5 friends to baptism and they both didn't really go as planned, but were still really good lessons. We only had 30 minutes to go streeting/housing, but it was super yokatta (good)! After I finished talking to the first people we stopped elder Takamura said something like this "Wow...this is why you have so many progressing investigators"   All I did was invite them to come unto Christ.
