Turning point!

Wowowowow it's been a busy week! I think back to Monday and it feels like so long ago!

We went to the Steak place again and I didn't choke!

Okay! Monday we went to Okinawa for Zone Conference (in last email), I loved it so much! I realized how much I miss people when I was able to talk to the Elders and Sisters there. We played volleyball, had training, and ate taco rice. Also me, Elder Nagao and the Miyako Jima Elders sang "We'll Bring the World His Truth" and it was awesome (video on my google photos, link at the bottom). I met a senior couple that served with the Rosenlunds (from my home ward)!

This week started out kinda rough like the last few have been but on Thursday I prayed and recommitted myself to serving the lord. I am here for Him, I want to be in Japan, I want to learn Japanese, and I want to teach His Children. That has really been a turning point for me already, I've felt more in tune with the spirit since then, and I've felt greater desire to do God's work and love the people. I'm so grateful for Adjusting to Missionary Life, I went through it beacuse  began to realize how much I was actually struggling.  Now I am doing better because of the strength and support Heavenly Father is giving me.

This week I read 3 Nephi 17 and verse 24 really stuck out to me. Recently I have felt like a child, I cant understand or communicate very well, I cant do everything for myself and overall just small. Verse 24 is when Jesus invites the children to come to Him and He blesses them and ministering angels came down to them. Its okay if I am a child, that doesn't mean God or Jesus loves me any less.

This week our friend Rara came to church! We were so happy to see her! (It's crazy, there were 8 people in church, Me, Elder Nagao, the senior couple, the branch president, 2 members, and our friend) Its so good though! We keep finding and teaching! We are trying to help part member and inactive families, but so far its been difficult to have meaningful contact but
we will keep trying!

One of our friends was only able to call before Pday ends so we are ending a bit early but its ok! The Miyako Elders are here in Ishigaki for exchanges today and tomorrow, today we went to the beach (no swimming :) and we went on a glass boat (boat with glass on the bottom so you can see into the ocean) and it was a lot of fun!

Music is amazing! I love it so much! I love having a violin and listening to gospel music!

We need to show the lord that we want to receive revelation. Last night I was praying and I felt like I should go get my notebook, as soon as I did I started writing. I wrote a few pages in the dark, about what I need to do for the people around me. Show God you are ready and willing to act on His words and He will give them to you.

I'm so happy that I've been blessed to be able to be made happy easily. It is so easy to get sad or down about things, so I'm grateful that Heavenly Father made me able to find joy in little things.

I love you and God loves you too, I can feel that love He has for you.
